Project Overview: The Hospitality Indenture project aims to send graduates for a one-year indenture to serve in five-star Chinese hotels. - What is the duration of the program? - You get to choose whether to go for a 6 month or 12 month stay. We work with you around your current studies and study provider to ensure that you attend either as a part of your current course, or as a gap in your cause with RPL applied upon return!
- Who is eligible? - Anyone aged 18 to 19 is eligible as long as they are currently enrolled as a student in a post-secondary educational institute such as Uni or TAFE.
- Do I need to speak Chinese? - No, so long as you are fluent and at a minimum intermediate level of English speaking you will be just fine! Though if you have some skills in Mandarin, that will not be overlooked either!
- What will I be doing in the program? - You will have the change to experience different aspects of hospitality and business by working in roles such as - - Service of food and beverages in front of house or in the restaurant - Providing services behind the bar - Customer service with helping guests navigate their stay with check-in and out, - Along with any other tasks that may be required by the hotel.
- Do I need to have previous hospitality experience? - No! You will get all the training you need through the program. You will also receive continual support and hands-on experience should you decide to apply!
- Do I need to organise a Visa myself? - Nope! We will organise EVERYTHING for your entry to and from China, you just need a valid passport and it has to be in date for the duration of your trip!
